This Christmas season was such a blast of activity from beginning to end and now I can’t believe it’s time to take down the tree and look at normality again! I love Christmas…always have, always will…I always feel a twinge of sadness when all the trees and lights and wreaths disappear everywhere!
A new year is exciting though and Rick and I are already setting joint goals …mainly spiritual and financial…for 2007. We hope to free ourselves from impending debts, however small, and set our sights on opportunities alluding us right now. With that said, we know it is only through prayer and reliance on God that we can learn to forgo unnecessary expenditures (such as too many dinners out and clothing purchases;), learning instead to be content living within our means.
More than anything this year, I just want to become more sincere in my Christian commitment…no more half life stuff…in order that I might spend 2007 serving God faithfully and wholeheartedly as a daughter, wife, mother, aunt and friend!
Lastly, I want to wish you and yours a bright and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Love the pictures – new one of you and Rick, as well as the ones in your blog article. Good for you for setting the goals you have. You will be blessed as you keep them!
Oh how I love all my nieces and nephews…if only nick, abby and micalah (never can spell her name) could be in the picture. I love the stocking picture!
