To my dear "twin…"

Right outside my beloved Joyce Bakeshop:)

Before an outing downtown to H&M and dinner afterwards at a delicious Brooklyn burger restaurant (my pregnancy belly is obvious in this one!)

Thank you for leaving husband, children, hearth and home to come visit us! I know it was not a get away of ease but more of sacrifice on your part as our humble three-roomed abode doubtless felt stifling at times and our pull-out couch was a poor substitute for a real bed. But you didn’t complain and despite feeling sick most of the time, walked around Brooklyn readily with Micah and I-a welcome companion to us both!

You encouraged and challenged me during our many conversations. You made a delicious meal, did our laundry for us at the laundromat on a whim, baby sat Micah while Rick and I went on a Friday night date (and had him looking like a girl when we got home!;) and generally helped me keep the apartment tidy. Two more mommy hands definitely make things easier!

And now, I miss you! Thanks for coming Maryanne, my big sister and “twin!”

What Micah looked like when we returned from our date! I think my sister was missing her little girls a little too much!:)
