Seattle, Part 5 – Coming Home

Tonight we are staying with some friends in Seattle for the night and tomorrow we will board a noon plane back to New York. We’ve had an awesome time on the West Coast… I definitely feel blessed to be able to now say I have seen all but 2 Canadian provinces and my homeland is now becoming more and more “known” to me.

I must admit though I’ve been killed with kindness this week and am quite afraid to return to the general unfriendliness that pervades New York! Fortunately, Brooklyn is a much more humane environment then Manhattan. still though, friendliness is still not a virtue! But I love our city…not even Vancouver in all its splendor can capture the spirit of New York. It really is a one of a kind place!

This week, my aim is to get back to daily blogging as I will have regular internet access again! Stay tuned!

you are right, kindness is not a virtue of people in NY but they are rather helpful!!!! After spending a couple days being run over, pushed, honked at etc. I started to see that underneath all their rudeness New Yorkers are kind people!
