Micah, like most toddlers, loves to throw his food on the floor as he sits in his high chair. Thankfully, he is doing this less now that Rick and I have been serious about making sure he either eats the food or puts it back on the high chair tray if he is done instead of chucking it. But he still does it sometimes and I tell him sternly, “Micah, don’t throw your food!”
Well, he is mimicking me all the time these days and repeated “don’t throw” in the same tone several times during lunch today. Then, as I was putting him down for his nap, I threw his blanket into the crib before closing his bedroom door and he said loudly, “don’t throw!”
He’s making the connections now…and he’s able to reprimand mommy as a result! Uh oh!
That’s really cute… he’s a smart one
Score one for Micah! Mom
Ha! That’s really cute:)
He’s one bright and handsome boy.Dad
That’s hilarious! It’s so nice when you notice them starting to grow up. Amazing isn’t it? Mira hasn’t started to do that yet…soon enough I’m sure!
How funny! We are just now starting to enjoy Josh’s wonderful toddler behaviors too. Glad to know we’re not alone. How’s Ms. Ellie eating and sleeping?
