    Rick, this is the man to retake the Rebublican Party that you proposed in your “Conservative Revival” post. I was disappointed when he decided not to run in 2008. He is not without some faults, but who isn’t. Importantly, he can play the game of politics at a national level and not be withered by the heat of it. In fact, I think he might change the way the game is played, using intellegence, which is essentially non-existent in the arena today.

    There is a dark side of me that almost hopes Obama wins this year so that he can be defeated in 2012 by Gingrich. Otherwise, we’ll get H.R. Clinton in 2012 who WILL defeat McCain.

    I agree with Chuck…intelligence is mostly lacking today! Sad when, as I’ve heard some say, we should be looking for the cream of the crop to run for office in this country. Instead, we have power hungry men and women with no care for the country and the concerns of its citizens!
