Keep the Old, Part II

Like yesterday’s post, I was once again reminded today about the beauty of old friendships along with new. These two people go way back…Ellen is from Philadelphia and Tom from Brooklyn. Part of what is now officially known as the “Chaffey’s crew,” we spent our summers with their families growing up at our individual cottages in Chaffey’s Lock, Ontario and memories were made that will last a lifetime.

Last night, both Tom and Ellen came over for dinner, Ellen armed with beautiful white roses and Tom with a delicious key lime pie. They loved on our kids and it was simply a refreshing visit. Like being with family.

How kind God is to remind me of His provisions! He knows how good fellowship is for the soul!

Note: Ellie loved Tom’s iphone and Micah was enamored with the rose Ellen gave him! So sweet!:)
