Dear Babies

Dear babies,
Thank you for being such blessings in my life and for showing me on a daily basis how much I need God! I try and try to raise you both in my own strength but that continually fails and God continually brings me to my knees and tells me that I am not supposed to do this alone. He is right here with me. I pray I will continually grow in my faith and that you guys will see evidence of that growth.
Thank you for giving me so many moments of laughter. My favorite memory during our little picnic yesterday was when I fell on the ground at the end of “ring around the rosie,” actually falling flat on my back from fatigue, and you both came and lay your heads on my chest. It was so sweet and I relished the affection!
Thank you Lord for giving me these little ones. I want to do the best to raise them to be a godly heritage, to be a blessing in the next generation. Please Lord, give me the love and patience and grace and joy and compassion and wisdom and gratefulness I need each day as I wake to serve them well. Please help me to praise you for the difficult times as these are given to me by You as a means of blessing and growth. They are not meant to harm me or them but to bless beyond what I can see in the here and now.
Thank you. Would Your name be glorified.
