My younger sister recently posted pictures of her beautiful, handmade Valentine’s Day cards on her blog. While I did not get around to making my own cards (that ain’t gonna happen anytime soon;), I did want to show off these “R” stationary stickers I found recently. I find they nicely compliment the Valentine’s cards I have ready to mail off!
I love having the last name Rose for many reasons…I mean, what girl wouldn’t;) and one of the reasons is because the letter R has such a whimsical, romantic appearance in my humble opinion! I only had 8 of these stickers so to those of you who receive one on your envelopes, ENJOY!:)
“You love the roses – so do I. I wish the sky would rain down roses, as they rain from off the shaken bush. Why will it not? Then all the valley would be pink and white and soft to tread on. They would fall as light as feathers, smelling sweet; and it would be like sleeping and like waking, all at once!” – George Elliot
*Disclaimer: To my two sisters, back in the blog world once again…I am ashamed I have not been able to keep up with your 5 days a week blogging-in-the-morning- like-clock- work posting! How do you guys do it?!:)

I love those stickers! You must let me know where you got them! I had to laugh at your affinity for the letter "R". I too have certain letters that I favor and "R" is one of them, isn't that funny? There must be a psychological or artistic explanation as to why some letters appeal to people more than other letters. Just a thought!
What if your last name was thorn. Well, you could be like your Uncle Ron and pick a thorn from a Hawthorn – Crataegus, just to please the latinas. Whereas you would run it through the envelope flap like a safety pin, Ron uses it as a toothpick.Dad
Those are great stickers! I actually write a couple at at time…so I don't have to write every day. Oh…and since i am fresh at this I have ideas…I'm sure by the time I've blogged as long as you my posts will be minimal:)
Dad's comments…ha.
Very elegant…Trust I will be a lucky recipient! Mom
Dad-Thorn would most definitely be a surname I would have to take on sacrificially!:)Mom-But of course you and other family will be recipients!:)
And that last comment was from your Susanna, not Rick!:)
looking foorward to receiving one:)!!!
IF you're looking for a blogging idea, I'm curious how you find living in a big city with little kids. Specifically, how big is your place? And with soon-to-be three kids?! Room sharing, use of space, etc. I'd be glad to hear any wisdom you have. Thanks!
