Yesterday it snowed. And snowed. And snowed! A beautiful day but still one in which I was at a loss as to what we would do. The morning went quickly fortunately, in large part because of this Valentine’s Day craft I had ready for the kids to do…I even took part and it was a blast! Micah was Mr. Independent for the most part, doing the majority of the craft “all myself.” Ellie needed a little more of a helping hand but even she was trying hard to do it independently! During his lunch break (he worked from home), Rick took them out for snowman building in the backyard and later, sledding at Prospect Park.

A day that could have been long for the kids turned out a favorite so far…I am simply thankful! Grab a snowy winter’s day, make the most of it and you never know what it may become!:)
