The Mosque at Ground Zero

You take political correctness and relativism to their logical conclusions and you get utter insanity. I read today a vote has been taken and the results are 29 to 1 in support of a mosque to be built near Ground Zero. For all the family of those who died that day, family who no doubt has found peace and comfort visiting the spot that has now become a hallowed place of honoring victims and fallen heroes alike, their lives are being shaken. No, I do not hate muslims but neither do I support a mosque being built in this hallowed area where many died due to Islamic ideology. It’s simply a cruel move, especially when it has taken forever, 10 years no less, for anything to come of the new rebuild at the Ground Zero site.

These are the comforting words from Daisy Khan, executive director of the American Society of Muslim Advancement, “It was almost obvious that something like this had to arise from the ashes of 9/11,” Khan told Spiegel. “In some way, this has the hand of the divine written over it. It’s almost as if God wanted to be involved.” Yes, Ms. Khan…God was just aching for a chance to be a part of this project…thanks for giving him the go ahead.

Nope, not our God. A god of their own making…Allah to be sure…but NOT OUR GOD.

Our God, the one true God, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, the God of the bible, will not be mocked. Those involved in this project can build this mosque. They can use Islam’s post 9/11 reign in America to further their agenda. They can dress Islam up like a wolf in sheep’s clothing but, in the end, God’s truth will prevail. He will redeem and He will make this world right again. He will make this world and its ideologies sane and right.

What a wonderful world that will be!:)

I'm glad you're not afraid or ashamed to speak the truth about things like this! Of course, I don't really expect anything better… America is not a Christian nation, but a nation of secularism and/or nominal religion, and most of all, of pluralism.
