One of my new years “goals” this year was to be able to step away from the blog with out fear if ever I felt it necessary. After all, it doesn’t have to be forever and I can always return. Like Ecclesiastes says, there are seasons for everything and right now, my season is very busy. Therapists, regular doctor’s visits for Amelia and, as always, 3 little people wanting my attention every waking moment. I feel I need to definitely choose my priorities wisely, test which ones are truly worth the time and which are a little too consuming right now. Even though I only blog a few times a week, it takes much more time than I would like to admit to get the pictures posted and each post written. So be it for a few weeks or a month or a few months, I’m going to take a “blog vacation!”
And one thing I’m looking forward to doing during this vacation? Reading up more on the blogs I love…blogging myself often takes away from that endeavor because of time constraints. I really desire to enjoy blogging outside of my own blog for a time! I am truly looking forward to just simply being a reader/commenter right now.
See you around! :-)

I’ll miss reading your posts, but I completely understand!
Boooo….I’ll miss your posts:( Just promise you’ll come back:)
Will miss your blog but enjoy your “vacation”! Please keep us posted on FB about how Amelia is doing!
I did not post today for the exact same reason. We have some decisions that are pressing and I determined to be still and quiet today.
I’m posting two comments in one day! I just had another thought though. I was thinking about what you said with regard to having time to read other blogs. I have to say that I have been so blessed by reading certain blogs–and some have gotten me through some really tough times. So, I would just encourage you to find some that really speak to where you are right now in your life and that lift you up and fill you with godly encouragement. I’m still praying for you guys!
Thank you Adrienne! Any blog suggestions? I would love to know of some of your favorites and ones that have built you up!:)
Love you friend…thank you!
Aww, I’ll miss your posts! I really enjoy your blog. Have a good ‘vacation’ and hope that you get a lot out of it. Hurry back!
Completely understand. Stop by my blog anytime, I try to post 5-6 days. My four children are almost out of the nest…3 gone and one very independent 11 year old. Let me know when you return.
I will miss your writing, but certainly understand! I hope you have a nice break and will look forward to your return! =)
Will miss it, Hon….Interesting – I read that passage in Ecclesiastes this morning…Mom
Will miss your posts, but I certainly understand! Yours, by the way (along with your sister’s), is one of the blogs that encourage my day…so I look forward to your return!
I already miss your writing, but I understand your need for a break. I hope you’re enjoying your sweet little ones and having the time to surf around a little… but I look forward to hearing more updates upon your return.
hmmmm…. upgrades?
Still missing you! Good to talk today and hoping you might pick up writing again one day.
I totally understand the feeling! I took a blogging holiday over Christmas, and it was pretty hard to get back into! It takes ages to do a post, doesn’t it? Uploading photos, getting the wording right, etc. Anyway, enjoy your blogging break!
